The town of Levanto is the doorway to the Cinque Terre. The Cinque Terre (5 lands) is composed of 5 small villages: Monterosso, Vernazza, Manarola, Corniglia, Riomaggiore. 

The Cinque Terre is a National Park and Unesco World Heritage site.

Do you know "FARINATA"???

What is Farinata? "It is a typical Ligurian and Tuscan dish, made with chick pea flour and mixed with water, salt and olive oil. It must be cooked in a high temperature oven (400°C) and can be mixed with Pesto sauce, Gorgonzola and Stracchino cheese. It takes about ten minutes in the oven and then it is ready."

New Cinque Terre Information Bureau in Levanto

The Mayors of the Cinque Terre towns made an agreement with the Comune di Levanto to open an Information Bureau in Levanto. The National Park of Cinque Terre is also part of Levanto Territory - that is why we call Levanto the "doorway to the Cinque Terre." More information about Levanto.
